All eyes will be on the Scottish international lawn and indoor bowler, who made history this year, by becoming the first player to win an unprecedented four World Bowls Tour (WBT) events in a single season.
Banks, who began to play lawn bowls as a 10-year-old, said the strong field at inaugural ‘World Cup 2025’ would be tough.
“You are not going to get any easy games and with little time to adapt to the new playing conditions here,” said Banks.
In the men’s singles, Banks is drawn in section 3 with John Bezear (Can), Jamie Walker (Eng), James Po (Hkg), Daniel Davies Jnr (Wal) and Aaron Zangl (USA).
