Come August all eyes will be on Gold Coast for the World Bowls Championships.
A record number of 47 nations – the biggest field in the events history – will descend on Queensland, Australia.
A world class showdown is on the cards with heavyweights from Australia, New Zealand, Scotland, Wales, England and many more vying for honours.
Asian giants – Malaysia, India and the Philippines – will also be out to strut their stuff.
At the 2016 Championships, the New Zealand’s men team finished top with 2 golds and 2 bronzes. Australia dominated the women’s competition with 3 golds.
Malaysia won a bronze through the women’s triples event – Nor Hashimah Ismail, Nur Fidrah Noh and Azlina Arshad.
