Year of 2024 became another glorious year for the national Lawn Bowls team when Nor Farah Ain Abdullah emerged as the world champion, followed by Malaysia’s excellence at the Asian Championships.
The President of the Malaysian Lawn Bowls Federation (MLBF), Datuk Awalan Abdul Aziz, described 2025 as a busy year for them.
This is when Malaysia will face many major tournaments, with the most important being the World Cup that will take place in Hong Kong at the end of next year.

Meanwhile, MLBF organized the 2024 President’s Cup on 15th of December, and interestingly, each team was provided with one national bowler.
And the National Sports Council (NSC) team successfully emerged as champions after defeating the Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM) in the final, while SD Guthrie overcame Media Prima/TV3 to secure third place.
