Record-Breaking Participation at the 9th Classic Triples Lawn Bowls Championship 2025

The 9th edition of the Classic Triples Lawn Bowls Championship, held at the Arena Lawn Bowls Bukit Kiara in Kuala Lumpur, witnessed an exceptional turnout and fierce competition from 6th to 9th February 2025. The tournament not only saw record-breaking participation but also showcased the impressive talent and sportsmanship of players from across the region.

Champion – Greenfinder E

The coveted champion’s title went to Greenfinder E, represented by Daeng Dhadyry Dahasry, Mohammad Ikram Mohd Isa, Nur Izzati Mohd Ibrahim, and Muhammad Aiman Hakim Che Ahmad. Their outstanding performance throughout the competition earned them the grand prize of RM 4,800.

Second Place – Greenfinder A

In a thrilling final, Greenfinder A secured the second-place spot. Comprising Ahmad Zikry Sazeli, Muhammad Fahimi Zahidi, and Muhammad Hafiz Zahari, this talented trio walked away with RM 2,700 in prize money.

Third Place – Majlis Sukan Negeri Perlis D

In third place, Majlis Sukan Negeri Perlis proved their skill and determination. The team, represented by Muhammad Nabil Naqib Bimazhafesal, Nurshaza Aina Shahrizan, and Muhammad Aqil Irfan Anuar, took home RM 1,500 as their reward for a strong performance.

Third Place – Greenfinder B

Also claiming third place was Greenfinder B, represented by Izzat Shameer Dzulkeple, Megat Mohd Nazim Megat Mohd Zainuddin, and Shahnizan Zaidi Yahaya. The team shared the third-place prize with Majlis Sukan Negeri Perlis, winning RM 1,500.

Quarter-Finalists

The competition was intense, and several other teams showcased incredible performances, making it to the quarter-finals. The following teams each earned RM 900:

Plate Section Winner – Ultras Putra

In the Plate Section, Ultras Putra, represented by Abdul Halim Zainal, Mohd Faizal Nashriq Abdul Razak, and Mohd Fairuz Mustapha, triumphed in a thrilling final against Ultimate A. The team received RM 900 for their victory.

Spoon Section Winner – Derma’s Corner

The Spoon Section saw a remarkable performance from Derma’s Corner, who emerged victorious after beating Selangor C in the final. The team, consisting of Abdul Hakim Afif Abdul Rahman, Nur Ain Nabilah Tarmizi, and Nur Nadhirah Azmi, took home RM 600.
